British Navy tests flying Marines (VIDEO)

The British Navy has tested a new, even futuristic, way of transferring a ship – using a jet backpack or jetpack.

The video, published by the British company Gravity Industries, shows Marines using the so-called “jet backpack” to transfer to another ship.

It can be seen that the soldier takes off without any problems and lands on the deck in record time.

Gravity’s jetpack uses four jet engines mounted on the user’s back that deliver 1,000 horsepower. Thanks to the design, the user of the equipment can manually adjust the speed and direction of movement.

Gravity also works with British emergency services to allow paramedics to reach remote areas in record time.
