Elon Musk Has Announced The Priorities For This Year – These Are Not Cars

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has announced the company’s priorities for 2022, and it is interesting that the focus will not be on cars, but on the development of a humanoid robot.

It is about the Optimus project, which Musk characterizes as very important.

The robot was first introduced in August last year, and is 1.7 meters high and weighs 57 kilograms.

It is called the Tesla Bot and is based on the same artificial intelligence technology used by Tesla’s driving assistance software.

He would use an artificial intelligence system to help launch Tesla vehicles.

A prototype of this robot is expected later this year.

Musk told investors that the plans for the robots were such that they “have the potential to be more significant over time than the vehicle business.”

He believes that this will help solve the labor shortage in the future. He also made the announcement on Twitter this week.

Accel Robotics software engineer Filip Pieknjevski has challenged the idea.

“Anyone who thinks Tesla is building a humanoid robot lives in an alternative reality,” he wrote on Twitter.

Cognitive robotics professor Tony Prescott of the University of Sheffield told the BBC that Musk would face many challenges along the way, especially technical details.

Keeping the robot upright would be one of the biggest problems and it would be complicated to form arms and coordinate arms and eyes.

“These are fundamental research problems that need to be addressed,” he said.
