Gazprom Has Announced a Major Gas Pipeline Deal with China

Gazprom today announced a deal to develop its Siberia-2 natural gas pipeline to China via Mongolia to supply Beijing with 50 billion cubic meters a year.

CEO Alexei Miller has reached an agreement with Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Sainbuyangyin Amarsaihan to carry out design and survey work on the pipeline.
