Macron Received a Slap (VIDEO)

Two people have been arrested following an attack on French President Emmanuel Macron during a visit to the Drom department.

The video, which has been circulating on social media, shows President Macron walking around with a large number of people, greeting them.

Those who wanted to see the president up close stood behind metal fences for security reasons.

At one point, the president extended a hand to greet a man wearing a green T-shirt, glasses, and face mask.

However, he shouted “Down with Macronia” before slapping the president.

The president’s security escort quickly intervened, knocking the man to the ground and ousting Macron.

Macron is visiting the Drom department to meet with catering officials and students as he discusses how to bring life back to “normal after the pandemic”.

However, he will remember the tour after the slap he received from a man, whose identity has not yet been announced.
