Man Killed During Arrest in Minneapolis

US marshals have killed a man in an attempted arrest in Minneapolis on a state warrant.
The incident sparked a protest in the city, which is still under the impression of the police killing of George Floyd.
“During the incident, the subject who was in a parked car did not heed the warning and showed a weapon, which resulted in the members of the special unit shooting at him,” a statement from the law enforcement authorities said, Reuters reports.
It is not clear which law enforcement officers were involved in the incident, but there were no Minneapolis police officers whose members killed George Floyd a year ago.
Officers tried to resuscitate the man, but doctors pronounced him dead on the spot. The woman who was in the car with the suspect sustained minor injuries from the broken glass.
Eyewitnesses say they heard a dozen shots.
