Christopher Sign, a 45-year-old television journalist who first reported on a secret meeting between former President Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch on her private jet in 2016, has been found dead and his death is considered suicide.
Hoover, Alabama police said they received a 911 call at 8:13 a.m. Saturday from an unknown person and after officials arrived at Christopher Sine’s home, they found his lifeless body, reports the Daily Mail.
Sign, a former University of Alabama footballer and veteran of journalism, revealed in 2016 that Bill Clinton had secretly met with prosecutor Lynch on his private jet at Phoenix Airport to discuss the investigation into the former US Secretary of State.
A meeting that both Clinton and Lynch later described as friendly because they were already friends in private.
The news of Sign’s alleged suicide immediately became the subject of media speculation, as it is not unknown that the Clintons had a sharp reaction to Sine over the scandal.
