The Washington Monument is Reopening to Visitors

The Washington Monument will receive its first visitors from tomorrow after a long break from work after it was closed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic, said the MIA correspondent from Washington.
The monument will be open every day from 9 am to 5 pm. Visitors must wear masks inside the complex whether vaccinated or not.
According to the recommendations of the State Centers for Disease Control (CDC), all common and working premises will be safe and clean for visitors, staff, associates and volunteers, local Columbia County media reported.
The Washington Monument features a 169-meter-high obelisk topped by a platform for observing the spectacular landscape of the American capital.
It was closed last March and reopened in October. Due to the winter wave, Covid-19 was closed again in January this year.
