Virgin Galactic has begun selling tickets for “space tourism”, and one such trip costs at least $ 450,000.
The press release lists three options for consumers in the “private astronautics market” – a single trip, a family package and the option to rent the entire flight.
The next flight of the Unity spacecraft is scheduled for the end of September and is paid for by the Italian Air Force.
Earlier, Virgin Galactic successfully launched its four-seater spacecraft on July 11.
The owner of “Virgin”, Richard Branson, was also on the flight.
The spacecraft landed at a private space landing site in the US state of New Mexico.
